Hi! I am Jiahang Zhang, currently a senior undergraduate student majoring in Electronic Information and Engingeering (Seed Class) at Huazhong University of Science and Technology(expected graduation in June 2025). I am also an incoming 25Fall PhD student in Zhejiang University.
My research interests mainly focus on robotics, especially on robot learning. I am also very interested in robot manipulation and robot locomotion.
Previously, I was working on the project of automatic robot systems for laboratory automation , which is supported by National Key Program. Our team conducted an autonomous robotics system that enables dual robotics arms to do many chemistry experiments and makes contributions to laboratory automation. The algorithm is successfully deployed on the real-world robot and our final system has finished diverse chemistry experiments without human intervention.
Currently, I am working for my Bachelor’s degree project on learning based humanoid locomotion. My aim is to give the humanoid robot the full potential to traverse complex and challenging terrains.
